Revelation, part of The Animated Word series, is a word‑for‑word visual Scripture project created to serve the global Church. Designed for evangelism, discipleship, and cross‑cultural ministry, the film presents every verse of the book of Revelation with simple, meaningful animation that helps viewers understand the text—regardless of literacy level, biblical background, or language.
The project was built with missions in mind. Many communities around the world have limited access to clear biblical teaching, and even fewer have visual Scripture resources in their heart language. Revelation bridges that gap by offering a faithful, distraction‑free presentation of God’s Word that can be used in house churches, remote villages, refugee camps, prisons, and urban ministries alike.
To support global outreach, the film is being made available in multiple languages. Through the Animated Word app, viewers can watch the entire book and share it easily with others. The simple visual style makes it ideal for oral cultures, new believers, and seekers who may be encountering Scripture for the first time.
At its core, the mission of Revelation is to help people everywhere see and hear the Word of God clearly, so that the message of Jesus can reach hearts across cultures, borders, and generations.

What personnel are needed to bring this resource to fruition, (make the resource available in another language)?
Trained translator, Media expert
What kind of technical expertise is needed to adapt this resource to your situation?
Very little technical expertise is required. We designed the Animated Word – Revelation project so that local partners, translators, and ministry teams can adapt it to their community with minimal equipment and only basic audio skills. We provide the raw animation files, and partners simply supply: 1. A translated script of the book of Revelation – either an existing Bible translation they have rights to use, or a community‑approved translation. 2. A clean audio recording of the Scripture reading in their language – recorded by a local reader, pastor, or voice team. – this can be done with simple equipment (a quiet room + a decent microphone). Once those two pieces are available, our team (or a partner with basic media experience) can: • Sync the audio to the animation • Adjust timing where needed • Render the final video in the new language • Prepare files for app upload or local distribution No advanced animation, editing, or studio‑level production is required. If a partner can record clear audio and send it to us, we can handle the rest. For communities with their own media workers, we’re also happy to collaborate and guide them through the process. The goal is simple: make it easy for any community to experience Revelation in their heart language, even in low‑resource or remote settings.
How much time is required to do all the work required to bring the resource to completion?
1 month to 1 year
What sort of logistical setting is needed? (e.g. quiet space for recording, good Internet access)
The logistical requirements are simple and intentionally designed to work in a wide range of ministry contexts, including low‑resource or remote areas.
1. A quiet space for recording
A small, quiet room is usually enough. It doesn’t need to be a studio—just a space with minimal echo and background noise. Many partners use a church office, a home, or even a vehicle parked in a quiet area.
2. Basic audio recording setup
A clear voice recording is the most important element. This can be done with:
• a USB microphone and laptop
• a portable audio recorder
• or a smartphone with a good external mic
No advanced engineering skills are required.
3. Moderate Internet access (only for file transfer)
Good Internet is helpful but not essential. Partners only need enough connectivity to:
• send us the recorded audio files
• receive the final rendered video
If Internet is limited, files can be transferred via USB drives, SD cards, or delivered physically.
4. No special equipment for video production
All animation and video rendering are handled by our team. Local partners do not need video editing software, animation tools, or high‑powered computers.
5. Optional: a local media worker
If a community has someone with basic editing experience, we can collaborate with them—but it’s not required. We can handle all syncing and production on our end.

Unique Characteristics
The Animated Word – Revelation project is unique because it presents Scripture word‑for‑word, allowing viewers to encounter the biblical text directly rather than a summary or interpretation. The animation is intentionally simple, symbolic, and non‑distracting, making it accessible across cultures, literacy levels, and age groups. This approach allows the power of the Scripture itself to lead, while the visuals help clarify structure, movement, and meaning—especially in a book as symbolic as Revelation.
Another major advantage is its global adaptability. Because the project is built around clean animation and a single audio track, it can be easily translated and voiced in any language. Communities only need a clear recording of the Scripture reading in their heart language, and the visuals remain universally relevant. This makes the resource ideal for missions, oral cultures, and low‑infrastructure environments. It also supports multilingual ministry by helping people see themselves in the biblical story—especially through Revelation’s emphasis on “every tribe, language, people, and nation.” The combination of faithful Scripture, simple visuals, and easy localization makes this a powerful tool for evangelism, discipleship, and cross‑cultural engagement.
