The time required to bring Waha to completion in a new language varies depending on several factors, including the availability of translation volunteers, the complexity and duration of Bible licensing processes, and the scope of technical development needed. On average, the process can take anywhere from a few months to over a year. These timelines depend heavily on how quickly the necessary components—like translations, quality assurance, and licensing—can be coordinated and finalized.

What sort of logistical setting is needed? (e.g. quiet space for recording, good Internet access)

Using the Waha app in a community setting is straightforward, requiring:
– A Smartphone or Tablet: The app runs on devices with basic functionality.
– Moderate Internet Access: Only needed for downloading the app and updates; the app itself works offline.
– Flexible Meeting Spaces: Users can facilitate Discovery Bible Studies or training in homes, churches, or community spaces without special equipment.

30-90 minutes.
Each session is set up to be a catalyst for discussion, prayer, action, and accountability in your group. While the actual content of a study may only be around 10 minutes, the length of your meeting depends more on your group’s interaction.

We offer technical support, as well as cohort and coaching involvement, and online community groups for users to discuss their experiences, support, and encourage each other. We also have regular blogs, newsletters, and updates to encourage our users further as they incorporate the Waha tool into their disciple groups.
